Whenever I have searched for money making ideas on the internet I always come across paid surveys. There are loads of these survey sites some of which require you to pay a membership fee which to me seems a bit cheeky as the main idea is that you are getting paid for giving these sites your time and thoughts not for them to get paid by you.

Anyway I found some free to join survey sites at 123surveys. There were a variety to choose from depending on whether you stay in the US, UK or elsewhere in the world. Joining seemed fairly easy but earning money seems to take a bit longer as I've only been sent a handful of surveys to date but surely there must be some money to be made from surveys otherwise why else would they be advertised all over the net?
